The NCPGA conducts Junior Golf Tournaments for boys and girls ages 5-19. The NCPGA’s Junior Tour is available to all children with golf experience who enroll at ghintpp.com/ncpga/tpponlinegolfer/.
Starting in 2015, Junior golfers will choose their division based on age and ability. The NCPGA staff requests players and parents be honest about a player’s ability and abide by the recommendations provided to ensure the most competitive and enjoyable NCPGA Junior Tour possible. Be advised that the NCPGA staff reserves the right to modify the divisions chosen based on a players performance. All decisions of the staff are final.
JUNIOR TOUR DIVISIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS:
Division I Advanced: 18 holes played from the member tee box (typically white for males and red for females). Recommended for any golfer ages 13 & older who consistently score below 90.
Division I Intermediate: 18 holes played from the member tee box (typically white for males and red for females). Recommended for any golfer ages 13 & older who typically score above 90.
Division II Advanced: 9 holes played from front tee box (typically red). Recommended for any golfer ages 10-15 who consistently score below 60.
Division II Intermediate: 9 holes played from front tee box (typically red). Recommended for any golfer ages 10-15 who typically score above 60.
Division III: 5 holes from a created set of tees. Recommended for any golfer 12 or younger who is not yet ready for the full course. Hole yardages will not exceed 200 yards.
